This graduation application is required in order to have a degree posted and a diploma processed. In addition, it is required to be eligible to participate in a Commencement Ceremony.

Each February, the University website will be updated with Commencement information including details for ordering regalia.

Diplomas will be mailed to students. Students graduating during the Spring term (January - May's Commencement) will have their diploma mailed approximately 2-4 weeks following Commencement; students graduating during the Summer term (after May's Commencement - August) will have their diplomas mailed during the first week of October; students graduating during the Fall term (August - December) will have their diplomas mailed during the first week of February.

Section 5: Submission Requirements

Requirements for Graduation
To meet doctoral degree requirements, students must complete a minimum of 36 semester hours at the doctoral level, including satisfactory completion of the practicum requirements, and earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.00.

Although an academic advisor and the Office of the Registrar assist students in course selection and registration, it is the responsibility of each student to see that he/she fulfills all degree requirements. Academic plans can be reviewed by using Self Service and if there are any concerns, it is the responsibility of the student to contact his/her advisor and/or the Registrar's office to discuss necessary information.
