Change of Major - Current Students

Good for you! If you are thinking about changing your major, you should have a conversation about potential options with the Director of the Pathways Center, your current advisor, and/or department chair. As you consider your vocational options and a new academic plan, it is important for you to evaluate your progress toward a degree in the new major, as well as the impact the change may have on your projected graduation date. Remember that the Pathways Center has many resources available to help you explore vocation and career opportunities.

The Registrar will notify you by email to confirm that the change of major process is complete. During the process, the department chairperson of the major you selected will assign a new academic advisor for you; if you selected Exploring or Not Sure, the Director of the Pathways Center will contact you.
