Program Overview
The Exhibit and its annual induction process are grounded in core values that define an “extraordinary woman of Waynesburg,” and these values will serve as the criteria for potential induction of honorees:
All nominees must have made significant and lasting contributions as we intend to celebrate visionary leaders whose achievements leave a measurable, enduring footprint on their professions, fields of study, or local/global communities. Additionally, nominees must also be exemplary in at least one of the following pillars of excellence:
· Drive, Resilience & Perseverance: Women who display extraordinary courage, strength, and willpower—navigating complex challenges, overcoming obstacles, and emerging through transformative personal or professional journeys.
· Character & Ethical Leadership: Individuals who lead with high integrity, deep self-awareness, fairness, and profound respect for others, serving as moral anchors in their fields and/or through their faith leadership.
· Service & Community Impact: Empathetic, generous spirits dedicated to uplifting those around them through selflessness, kindness, and active community engagement.
Eligible candidates include current or former students, alumnae, faculty, staff, trustees, and community partners.
Nominees need not meet every category but should demonstrate exceptional strength in one or more of these areas through verified achievements, ethical leadership, steadfast determination, and dedicated service.
A limited number of select nominees will be inducted annually and recognized as outlined by the program description.
