Notice of Intent: TPS Eastern Region

The TPS Eastern Region is accepting Notices of Intent for the upcoming funding cycle, anticipated to begin December 16, 2026. Proposed projects may range from 3–12 months in duration.

Two Regional Grant opportunities are available:

1. Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS) Grants
Support projects that integrate TPS materials and methods into existing education and professional development programs.
2. Lewis-Houghton Initiative (LHI) Grants
Support digitally enabled secondary education initiatives using creative arts–driven instruction—particularly in music, history, civics, and democracy—through the use of digitized primary sources from the Library of Congress.
